About the role#
We are looking for a motivated design intern to join our team in Calabasas, California. This is an on-site role that offers hands-on experience in the music industry. You will work directly with our design team to support the visual needs of Emo Nite.
What you'll do#
- Create templates for tour materials, including updates for dates and guest artists.
- Resize existing assets to fit specific market requirements.
- Prepare files for print production.
- Organize still and video assets for distribution to partners and representatives.
- Source stock footage, images, and fonts from our media libraries.
- Provide support at Emo Nite events when needed.
- Assist with additional tasks as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Strong technical skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- An interest in the music industry, emo music, and our brand is preferred.
- Knowledge of current design trends, typography, and color palettes.
- A desire to learn and experiment with new design technologies.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects and Premiere is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Calabasas, California.
- Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Compensation: $16.90 to $18.00 per hour.
- Schedule: You must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet project deadlines.
- Environment: Expect loud noise levels and busy settings at event locations, which may include varying temperature conditions.
- Eligibility: Applicants must possess work authorization in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
