About the role#
Lincoln International is looking for Summer Analyst Interns to join the Valuations & Opinions Group for the summer of 2027. This role offers exposure to a range of asset classes and industries while working within a team-oriented environment. Interns will contribute to a growing platform and build analytical skills in finance and accounting. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Support the Portfolio Valuation, Asset-backed Finance, or Transaction Opinion & Board Advisory teams.
- Construct valuation and financial analyses using proprietary models, including discounted cash flow and comparable company analysis.
- Research economic conditions, industry trends, and investment attributes of various securities.
- Participate in due diligence meetings and client communication.
- Assist in preparing fee proposals, pitch materials, and written valuation reports.
- Maintain proprietary valuation databases and coordinate projects across different offices.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Location & details#
- This internship runs from May 17, 2027, through July 23, 2027.
- The role is based in Atlanta, Dallas, or New York.
- We follow a hybrid work structure. Employees work in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely or from the office on Fridays.
