Intern Physician Assistant

About the role#

This Level II internship is a structured learning experience for students currently enrolled in an accredited academic institution. It is designed for those in behavioral healthcare-related educational tracks who require service engagement. Interns receive supervised, hands-on experience through co-facilitation, clinical support, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered service exposure. Placement is subject to departmental availability and supervisory capacity.

What you'll do#

• Participate in all approved activities structured by your internship supervisor.
• Assist staff with responsibilities appropriate to your educational level, training, and program requirements under direct supervision.
• Evaluate and share feedback regarding your internship experience.
• Comply with all policies and procedures of Lakeview Center, Inc.
• Complete, sign, and submit all required documentation by established deadlines.
• Maintain consistent communication with your supervisor regarding your progress or any concerns.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a public or accredited private academic institution in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Ability to adhere to professional dress and behavior guidelines.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
• Reliable transportation to and from the internship site.
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening.
