About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in a clinical setting for students interested in healthcare careers. You will work alongside experienced therapists, supporting patient care and clinic operations. This role is part-time with flexible weekday hours.
What you'll do#
- Assist therapists with session preparations, including equipment setup and the creation of therapy materials.
- Support patients directly during treatment sessions, such as mobility work, transfers, and guided activities.
- Help with specialized techniques including gait training and serial casting.
- Maintain clinic flow by managing supplies and equipment.
- Keep therapy spaces organized and ready for patients.
- Score assessments, track patient outcomes, and create necessary tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a post-secondary student in a healthcare-related field, such as PT, OT, SLP, PA, or medical school.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to be reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to learn.
- A team-oriented mindset.
