About the role#
The Student Relations Technician supports the daily operations of student records and compliance at Marconi Learning Academy. You will work directly with students and parents to manage progress, address concerns, and ensure all enrollment documentation meets state mandates. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sacramento.
What you'll do#
- Manage student files, including data entry, reconciliation, and correspondence.
- Conduct orientations for incoming students and schedule their initial appointments.
- Input and verify student information in the Student Information System, such as immunization records, enrollment dates, and teacher assignments.
- Track Average Daily Attendance (ADA) and audit student work samples for compliance.
- Issue and track student work permits.
- Assist teachers with compliance problem solving and technical issues.
- Monitor report cards for accuracy and completeness.
- Handle front desk duties, including answering telephone calls and providing customer service.
- Submit compliance error reports to management and maintain ADA checklists.
- Ensure all enrollment protocols for special education, ELL, and re-enrollment are followed.
What you'll need#
- A desire to work with students and support their educational growth.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred to assist our diverse student population.
- Ability to maintain strict adherence to attendance and record-keeping policies.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, California.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Employment type: Full-time, regular.
- Compensation: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.
