About the role#
The Student Government Association (SGA) Student Worker supports the daily operations of the SGA office at Liberty University. This role involves maintaining the physical office space, coordinating operational activities, and ensuring a welcoming environment for students and staff. You will report directly to the SGA Director.
What you'll do#
- Oversee general office operations and ensure adherence to policies.
- Schedule, direct, and coordinate daily office tasks.
- Maintain and organize office and storage areas.
- Track student attendance by ensuring everyone swipes in and out.
- Promote a culture of trust, teamwork, and efficiency.
- Create a friendly environment for all visitors and staff.
What you'll need#
- Understanding of general SGA operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong self-motivation and ambition.
- Ability to solve problems using deductive reasoning.
- Skill in building and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
- Capacity to delegate tasks and handle unexpected issues.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
