About the role#
Li & Fung is looking for a Sales & Business Development Intern to join our team in New York. This part-time position offers hands-on experience in account management, product development, and sales operations. You will support our teams as they design and deliver products for global retailers. This is a paid, on-site internship requiring approximately 20 to 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Prepare for buyer meetings, customer presentations, and seasonal business reviews.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify retail trends and opportunities.
- Organize and maintain the showroom to ensure all products and samples are ready for client visits.
- Support the team with AI-generated imagery and digital presentation tools.
- Manage data entry, file organization, and other administrative tasks.
- Coordinate information between Sales, Design, and Product Development departments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, preferred days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
