About the role#
The Desktop Support Co-Op provides hands-on technical support to employees. You will work with desktop, laptop, mobile, and printer technologies. This role is for students looking to build practical IT experience while working alongside technology professionals.
What you'll do#
- Deliver and install desktop and laptop systems, including data migration and software setup.
- Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, printers, and connectivity.
- Perform daily backup procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure operating issues.
- Coordinate with third-party software and hardware vendors to resolve problems.
- Troubleshoot business applications and customer connectivity.
- Collaborate with other technical support team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled student pursuing an Associate’s or advanced degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Basic technical skills with Windows, Mac, and iOS.
- Understanding of common AI tools and their potential workplace applications.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to collaborate with others.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Availability: 19 hours per week.
