About the role#
As a Cloud Advance Admin/Developer Intern, you will collaborate with developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions. This role provides practical experience in cloud development, system integration, and automation within a manufacturing environment. You will work on projects that support business results and gain exposure to emerging technologies.
What you'll do#
- Support Salesforce administration, platform maintenance, and application configuration.
- Develop solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Configure objects, fields, workflows, and permissions to meet business needs.
- Perform functional and regression testing, document test scenarios, and troubleshoot application defects.
- Assist with integration analysis and data flows between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
- Support the automation and optimization of existing business processes.
- Document technical designs, business processes, and application configurations.
- Communicate project updates and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Conduct research on new Salesforce capabilities, including potential applications for Artificial Intelligence and Agentforce.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and at least one language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL queries, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of the Salesforce platform, exposure to Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, or Salesforce Flow, and understanding of REST/SOAP APIs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Location & details#
- Location: Richardson, Texas (On-site).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour, depending on the intern's year in their university program.
- Eligibility: This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.
