About the role#
This is a generalist internship at Lean TECHniques. You will work across content, research, events, and marketing operations. It is a good fit if you are curious about different areas of marketing and want to see how a marketing function runs. You will also own one anchor project from start to finish, which we will define together based on your interests and goals.
What you'll do#
- Draft social posts using existing blogs, webinars, and case studies.
- Build and schedule emails in HubSpot.
- Turn webinar recordings into clips, recaps, and quote cards.
- Perform website QA by checking links and flagging stale pages.
- Provide copy support for webinar and partner landing pages.
- Track competitors and research target accounts for the sales team.
- Scout conferences for the sponsorship calendar.
- Pull and clean source data for analysis.
- Support logistics for conference sponsorships and booth presence.
- Manage pre- and post-event promotion.
- Produce webinars from registration setup through to follow-up.
- Handle campaign tagging and assemble the monthly marketing report.
- Document recurring processes.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior or senior.
- You are currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or business administration.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in Johnston, Iowa.
- The internship runs for 9 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- This is a paid position at 30 hours per week.
