About the role#
Lakeside Book Company is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time position based on-site in Nashville, Tennessee. You will work approximately 25 hours per week over a 12-week period from September through December 18, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day accounting activities, including account analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Help document, test, and improve accounting processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong Excel skills and general proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated and organized work habits.
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and communication skills.

- Compensation: $22 per hour.
