About the role#
As an RF/Wireless Engineer Intern, you will work on complex electro-optical, opto-mechanical, and electro-mechanical products. You will receive close supervision and guidance from senior staff as you learn to apply technical expertise to real-world projects. This role involves working with internal and external labs to define testing and ensure all components meet project requirements.
What you'll do#
- Create component drawings and technical specifications for complex products.
- Assist engineering and purchasing teams with the selection and procurement of parts and materials.
- Prepare submittals for nonstandard parts.
- Work with labs to interpret test results and define testing parameters.
- Review quality documentation, including supplier data and test results, to ensure compliance.
- Present your analysis results to program engineers and customers.
- Communicate project status and technical issues to management and program teams.
- Serve as a technical consultant within your area of expertise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours of work over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Employment type: Full-time paid internship.
