About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in Rochester. This is a full-time, paid position that provides support for both new product development and existing factory operations.
What you'll do#
- Support mechanical engineering tasks for new product development.
- Assist with factory support for current products.
- Collaborate with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
- Create and process engineering change orders (ECOs).
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of your sophomore year or currently in your junior year of study.
- Exposure to CAD or FEA analysis tools is preferred.
- Experience with mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Rochester, New York.
- Work schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours worked over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Work modality: On-site.
