About the role#
Kroll is hiring an intern for the Transaction Opinions practice. This team provides independent fairness, solvency, and debt opinions for boards of directors, special committees, and private equity firms. You will gain hands-on experience supporting valuation assessments for M&A transactions, capital raises, and corporate spin-offs.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with senior management teams and gain exposure to clients, board members, and stakeholders.
- Support financial modeling and analytics for deal teams.
- Present financial models and detailed analysis to senior professionals during technical review meetings.
- Perform company, industry, market, and competitor research and due diligence.
- Contribute to the development and communication of proposals and advice for clients.
- Ensure the quality of client deliverables through careful attention to detail.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- If in another major, you must have completed at least four junior or senior level courses in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Major GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple engagements.
- Excellent quantitative, writing, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and personal integrity.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
