About the role#
KPRS Construction Services, Inc. offers a summer internship for students who want to gain experience in general contracting. You will work with project teams and learn how construction projects are planned, managed, and executed from start to finish. This role involves both office work and time spent at job sites.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with scheduling, budgeting, billing, documentation, and account management.
- Assist estimators with parts of the bid process.
- Help coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
- Gain exposure to daily jobsite operations and project management fundamentals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Zoom.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
- Physical ability to visit job sites, including walking 2 to 3 miles daily, climbing stairs, ladders, or scaffolding, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
