About the role#
KPMG Law is hiring a Tax Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Tempe, Arizona. You will work on-site and join a team that supports legal managed services and helps clients navigate complex business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Assist attorneys with the review and analysis of legal documents, including commercial contracts and corporate governance materials.
- Manage the formation, registration, and dissolution of domestic and international entities.
- Draft and maintain corporate documents such as bylaws, operating agreements, resolutions, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate and file annual reports, business licenses, and other regulatory filings.
- Conduct legal research and monitor developments in the regulatory environment.
- Collaborate with diverse teams within KPMG Law and the broader firm network.
- Support legal managed services engagements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a JD or equivalent program like an LLM.
- Preference for candidates who plan to pursue an Arizona bar license.
- You must have additional academic credits to complete after the internship concludes.
- Strong technical, business, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- A desire to use technologies like Artificial Intelligence in legal services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks.
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
