About the role#
As a User Experience CoOp, you will work with senior Human Factor researchers and Industrial Designers. You will help develop new products and improve existing ones. Your work focuses on ensuring our products are useful, usable, and desirable for our customers. You will collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to solve design problems.
What you'll do#
- Assist with user research for existing products, mock-ups, and prototypes.
- Participate in design critiques.
- Conduct and analyze secondary research, such as trend reports, product reviews, and competitive benchmarking.
- Act as an advocate for customers throughout the product development process.
- Create user interaction designs for products and services.
- Build UX/UI prototypes and write behavior specifications for product and app UI experiences.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate-level program in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency with digital design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Understanding of Android and iOS platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to share research insights and design recommendations.
- Relevant work experience in design research or interaction design is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

- Location: Kohler, Wisconsin.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 (May 2027 through December 2027).
- This is a full-time, paid position.
