About the role#
As a User Experience Co-op, you will join the team to develop new products and refine existing ones. You will work alongside Human Factor researchers, Industrial Designers, engineers, and marketing professionals to ensure our solutions are useful and usable. This role involves understanding consumer needs, creating design solutions, and evaluating concepts.
What you'll do#
- Work with senior Human Factor researchers and Industrial Designers to support new product development and enhancements.
- Assist with user research, mock-ups, and prototypes to understand consumer behaviors.
- Participate in design critiques.
- Conduct secondary research, including trend reports, product reviews, and competitive benchmarking.
- Serve as an advocate for customers throughout the product development process.
- Create user interaction designs for products and services.
- Build UX/UI prototypes and write behavior specifications for product and app UI experiences.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate-level program in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with digital design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Android and iOS platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, specifically the ability to share research insights and design recommendations.
- Relevant work experience in design research, user experience, or interaction design is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position located in Kohler, Wisconsin.
- The term runs from May 2027 through December 2027.
