About the role#
Knorr-Bremse AG is hiring a Supply Chain Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Springfield, Missouri. You will work 40 hours per week during the summer months.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and identify improvement opportunities in buyer and planner transactional activities.
- Work with the Supply Chain Manager to build reporting tools and charts that track demand trends.
- Monitor turn and inventory control performance.
- Review material storage areas in the warehouse and on the production floor to reduce IWD and resolve back flushing issues.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized in a professional environment.
- A self-motivated, resourceful, and enthusiastic approach to your work.
