About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Melbourne, Florida. You will join the Quality Engineering team to support product and process quality activities for both new and existing products. This role requires an individual entering their junior year of college.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality data to identify trends, nonconformities, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, such as inspection plans.
- Participate in process audits and continuous-improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to maintain quality, safety, and on-time delivery standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, quality principles, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team.
