    About the role#

    This co-op position works primarily within the Quality Department. You will support projects focused on customer satisfaction, quality systems, and operational efficiency. The role requires collaboration across Plant Quality, Supplier Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor, analyze, and report on customer and supplier quality metrics.
    • Participate on product launch teams to complete quality engineering requirements.
    • Manage assigned customer requirements and investigate supplier or customer issues.
    • Perform Gage R&R and capabilities studies using statistical tools.
    • Conduct warranty trend analysis and manage the warranty critical failure mode process.
    • Support ISO9000/IATF16949 compliance, auditing, and supplier improvement projects including VDA audits.
    • Assist with process improvement using lean, project management, and six sigma tools.
    • Support merger and acquisition processes as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
    • Major in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access/Query.
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a team-focused environment.
    • A resourceful, self-motivated approach to new assignments.
    • Knowledge of statistical tools is preferred.

    • Locations: Avon, Ohio or Huntington, Indiana.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
    • Term: Rolling.
    • Compensation: Paid position.
