About the role#
This co-op position is based in the Supply Chain Excellence department. You will focus on demand forecasting improvements for a commercial vehicle supplier. This role offers exposure to various business perspectives and provides hands-on experience with supply chain operations.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate product demand against forecasts to improve accuracy.
- Incorporate trends, seasonality, and promotional impacts into forecasts.
- Provide customer demand and forecast information to management.
- Assist with the operational management of aftermarket sales promotions and customer demand patterns.
- Support Regional Distribution Center planning.
- Support Sales, Inventory, and Operational Planning (SIOP) and forecasting within SAP.
- Use SAP demand planning and Business Intelligence systems.
- Assist in SAP demand planning improvements.
- Conduct data analysis and engage in cross-functional supply chain projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with databases and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented.
