The Project Manager Intern will support road construction projects throughout the summer of 2026. This full-time, paid position offers hands-on experience in construction management and project operations within the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Manage project scheduling, reporting, and professional correspondence.
- Assist with job costing, filing, and performing takeoffs.
- Monitor trucking and haul costs and process timecards.
- Support field crews with traffic control setup.
- Handle material pickup and drop-off and run project-related errands.
- Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A GED, high school diploma, or equivalent critical thinking skills.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or certificate program in Project Management, Construction, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work in an on-site environment.

- Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, though hours may vary based on weather and customer demand.
- Requirements: Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
