    About the role#

    The Project Manager Intern will support road construction projects throughout the summer of 2026. This full-time, paid position offers hands-on experience in construction management and project operations within the construction industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage project scheduling, reporting, and professional correspondence.
    • Assist with job costing, filing, and performing takeoffs.
    • Monitor trucking and haul costs and process timecards.
    • Support field crews with traffic control setup.
    • Handle material pickup and drop-off and run project-related errands.
    • Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • A GED, high school diploma, or equivalent critical thinking skills.
    • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or certificate program in Project Management, Construction, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • Ability to work in an on-site environment.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota.
    • Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, though hours may vary based on weather and customer demand.
    • Requirements: Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
