About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting procedures and principles within the construction industry. The role is based in Boise, Idaho, and requires an on-site presence. The position is paid and offers a flexible schedule of approximately 20 or more hours per week to accommodate academic commitments.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile plant daily cash summary reports.
- Assemble support documentation for customer refunds.
- Assist with customer pre-lien notifications.
- Research and resolve customer accounts receivable issues.
- Perform general administrative tasks including scanning and filing.
- Provide coverage for the inter-company mail route.
- Handle other department duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program in Accounting or a related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions, maintain workflow, and manage difficult situations.
- Ability to handle proprietary and confidential information.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
