Knife River Corporation is seeking a Payroll Intern to join the team in Bismarck, North Dakota. This internship focuses on gaining practical experience in payroll processes and reporting functions. The position is a full-time, paid opportunity for the Summer 2026 term, beginning in March 2026 with flexible start dates based on academic schedules.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a college degree program for Finance, Accounting, or a payroll-related field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Proficiency in computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Office products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Ability to follow directions and maintain workflow in assigned areas.
- Ability to maintain proprietary and confidential information.

- Location: Bismarck, North Dakota, USA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Minimum of 40 hours per week.
