Knife River Corporation is offering a Summer 2026 internship program for students interested in the construction industry. This is a paid, on-site opportunity based in either Bryan or Waco, Texas. Interns will be expected to work either full-time or part-time for the 12-week duration of the program. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for these positions.
What you'll do#
- Report directly to a department manager or supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members across the department and other areas as necessary.
- Complete a project throughout the duration of the internship.
- Assist with various tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a university or college program with a focus on Construction Science, Materials Management, Human Resources Management, Engineering, or Environmental studies.
- A minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn.
- Effective problem-solving and customer service abilities.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
