Intern -- Coeur d'Alene

About the role#

Knife River Corporation is hiring a Field Intern to support construction operations in Clarkston, Washington. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site attendance and involves both administrative support and manual labor.

What you'll do#

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with tracking project quantities and submittals.
• Develop RFIs and support layout and surveying tasks.
• Conduct daily cost tracking and prepare daily reports.
• Provide quality control support and assist with the implementation of the safety plan.
• Perform manual labor as required on-site.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, and Project.
• A self-starting attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.
