About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work with our manufacturing team to improve processes and organize the shop floor. You will engage with cross-functional partners and learn from experienced professionals while solving real business challenges. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Mansfield, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Assist with manufacturing process improvements and shop organization.
- Create standard work procedures and post visual controls.
- Analyze manufacturing issues to find root causes and define corrective actions.
- Support various departments by assisting with product builds.
- Draft documentation for manufacturing processes and equipment setups.
- Gather product and consumer insights and make recommendations based on your findings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of PC and business office software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

- Physical demands: You may occasionally need to lift or move up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, sit, or reach. The role requires various vision abilities including close, distance, color, and depth perception.
