About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. You will work on machine control and inspection software for advanced mask inspection systems. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Milpitas, California. You will contribute to meaningful projects while gaining hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#

- Work directly with machine control and inspection software.
- Collaborate with engineers across electrical, mechanical, optical, and algorithm disciplines to find system-level solutions.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation expected in 2028, placing you in your penultimate year of study.
- Experience building applications using C++.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- A basic understanding of Linux, gained through coursework or personal projects.
- Coursework or experience with multi-threaded or multi-process programming.
- An interest in software design, data structures, and algorithms.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
