About the role#
KLA is hiring a Computer Vision/Machine Learning intern to join the e-Beam division. You will work on research and prototyping for next-generation products, focusing on image processing and machine learning algorithms. This role involves working within the semiconductor manufacturing space to improve defect detection and image quality.
What you'll do#
- Research and prototype image processing and machine learning algorithms for new products.
- Apply Deep Learning algorithms to detect and classify defects.
- Explore Generative and Diffusion models for SEM image simulation and quality enhancement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience in Image Processing, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or Deep Learning.
- Working knowledge of Tensorflow, Pytorch, Python, or MATLAB.

- This position is based in Milpitas, California.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
