About the role#
King & Spalding is hiring a Recruiting Intern to support law school hiring efforts in our Washington, D.C. or New York City offices. This is a temporary, part-time position running from October 2026 through February 2027, not to exceed 20 weeks. You will work 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with some flexibility required for overtime and weekends. The pay rate is $28 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruitment programming and on-campus initiatives.
- Schedule attorney interviews and lunches.
- Plan and implement training programs.
- Manage logistics for presentations, including reserving rooms, ordering meals, and distributing materials.
- Coordinate and calendar recruiting events.
- Greet candidates for interviews.
- Process student and vendor reimbursements.
- Input and organize candidate data in the applicant tracking system.
- Update branding and graphics for events and handle giveaway distribution.
- Maintain trackers for active candidates and summer associates.
- Draft team correspondence.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong event management and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly and outgoing personality.
- The ability to multi-task under pressure and produce results.
- Sophisticated verbal and written communication skills.
