About the role#
King & Spalding is hiring a Recruiting Intern to support law school hiring and recruiting operations. This is a paid, part-time, on-site role based in either New York City or Washington D.C. The internship runs from October 2026 through February 2027, with a maximum duration of 20 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Support the summer program and on-campus recruiting initiatives.
- Schedule attorney interviews and lunches while greeting candidates for summer associate interviews.
- Handle event logistics, including reserving conference rooms, ordering meals, and coordinating presentations.
- Manage administrative tasks such as processing student and vendor reimbursements and drafting team correspondence.
- Input and organize application data within the applicant tracking system.
- Update event branding and graphics and distribute giveaways.
- Maintain trackers for active candidates and summer associates.
- Assist in planning and implementing training programs.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- Completion of a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience or skills in event management.
- A friendly and outgoing personality.
- The ability to multi-task under pressure and produce results.
Location & details#
- Locations: New York City, New York and Washington D.C.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with flexibility for overtime and weekends.
- Pay: $28 per hour.
