About the role#
Weeks Marine Construction is offering a paid, full-time internship for the Summer 2027 term. This role provides exposure to the core activities within the marine construction industry. You will work across both office and field settings to support active projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project start-up, scheduling, and field engineering tasks.
- Perform quantity take-offs, estimating, design, and drafting work.
- Apply your technical knowledge and skills in real-world construction environments.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a commitment to an incident and injury free workplace.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your sophomore year of college, with a preference for junior students.
- A major in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Construction Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Coastal Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 2.95.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and perform light lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reliability in attendance and the ability to work overtime or weekends as required.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Cranford, New Jersey.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and education.
