About the role#
This internship supports the Corporate Environmental Home Office team. You will assist with data collection, regulatory research, and the development of sustainability metrics. This is a part-time, paid position for Fall 2026.
What you'll do#
- Perform regulatory research and track sustainability legislation and news.
- Input data into electronic systems to track company sustainability performance.
- Assist with the corporate Greenhouse Gas Inventory.
- Develop metrics related to water, waste, and biodiversity.
- Prepare and present environmental training materials.
- Support the department with various administrative duties and conference calls.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- The position is based in Omaha, Nebraska, though remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
- This is a part-time role requiring 5 to 20 hours per week during the school year.
- This position does not offer sponsorship.
