About the role#
Kids in the Game is seeking an Operations Intern to support our team through planning and organization. This role involves a mix of office-based research and hands-on work in the field to ensure our programs have the necessary materials to operate safely and effectively across New York City.
What you'll do#
- Use the EZ Office Inventory Management System to input and organize asset stocks.
- Assist with Department of Health compliance documentation for licensed school programs.
- Organize and create site binders for school year programs.
- Pack and distribute equipment during school year and summer camp transitions.
- Complete research projects focused on IT services and cybersecurity.
What you'll need#
- Current college student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or Communications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs over your head.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn with equipment.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Terms: Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Summer 2027.
- Commitment: 25-35 hours per week for 14-18 weeks.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, though a completion bonus of $200-$300 is provided. Class credit is available where applicable.
