About the role#
This is a 10.5-week summer internship program within the Real Estate Capital division at KeyBank. You will work in either the Commercial Mortgage Group or the Income Property Group. The program provides hands-on experience and serves as a pipeline for full-time analyst roles. You will have access to a mentor, networking opportunities, and professional development sessions.
What you'll do#
- Research economic conditions, market trends, industries, and prospective tenants.
- Assist with deal sizing and underwriting.
- Develop strategic contact databases.
- Conduct field research and prepare marketing materials.
- Complete a capstone project based on your internship experience.
- Support the broader goals and objectives of the Real Estate Capital team.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree.
- Coursework in finance, real estate, or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation in or before May 2028.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities.
- Relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

- Compensation: $27 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
