About the role#
This Commercial Bank internship provides hands-on experience in the Denver market with a focus on credit and lending. You will work alongside senior bankers and analysts to understand how commercial banking teams support middle market and institutional clients. The program runs for 10.5 weeks, from May 26, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze commercial loan requests by reviewing financial statement spreads and calculating key ratios.
- Partner with relationship managers to monitor client performance and collect necessary financial statements.
- Maintain credit system data and ensure accurate portfolio assignments.
- Complete a capstone project that incorporates credit analysis, business analytics, and client-facing deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of a four-year undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Science.
- An anticipated graduation date in or before May 2028.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
