About the role#
As an SCS Intern at Kenco Group, you will gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations. This role focuses on developing solutions for distribution, transportation, and material handling. You will learn about pricing strategies, project management, and personnel management while working alongside a diverse team. By the end of your internship, you will complete a project and present your findings to the executive leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Develop and document processes and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the creation of pricing tools and strategy development.
- Manage assigned projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders across the organization.
- Perform additional duties as requested by your team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited college or working toward a Master’s degree.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a preference for Excel VBA skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A preference for studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
Location & details#
- Location: Wilmer, Texas.
- Modality: This is an on-site, part-time position.
- Travel: You may be expected to travel up to 25% of the time.
