Master's Level Clinical Intern

About the role#

As a Master's Level Clinical Intern with the Cape Cod Community Based Program, you will support children and families with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work within the community to ensure families receive the services necessary for success in their homes, schools, and daily lives. This role provides extensive support and supervision from licensed staff to assist in your clinical growth and degree completion.

What you'll do#

• Provide care to help children and families obtain necessary mental health services.
• Develop skills required for community-based mental health work.
• Utilize strength-based, needs-driven, and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with a team to provide individualized services.
• Convey a passion for helping others while supporting the program mission.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Master’s degree program or higher in a mental health field, such as psychology or social work.
• A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment models is preferred.
• Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
