    About the role#

    As a Clinical Intern at Justice Resource Institute, you will work within our Community Based Services division. You will support youth and families with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. This role focuses on building your clinical skills while you work directly in client homes and the broader community. You will receive supervision from licensed staff to support your degree completion and professional growth.

    What you'll do#

    • Learn and apply clinical interventions to support youth and families.
    • Explore your clinical knowledge by using evidence-based modalities.
    • Improve your documentation skills and gain experience with electronic medical records.
    • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Support our mission by helping children and families succeed in their homes, schools, and communities.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be entering your 2nd year of a Master's degree program in social work or counseling.
    • A clear interest in working with children and adolescents.
    • Good written and oral communication skills.
    • Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment models is preferred.
    • Please note that we will perform background and driving record checks.

    • Modality: This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
