Clinical Intern

About the role#

As a Clinical Intern, you will join the Community Based Services division to support youth and families with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. This role focuses on developing your clinical skills through work in the community and client homes. You will receive supervision from licensed and experienced staff to support your professional growth and degree completion.

What you'll do#

• Learn and apply new clinical interventions to support youth and families.
• Explore clinical knowledge through the use of evidence-based modalities.
• Strengthen documentation skills and gain experience with electronic medical records.
• Serve as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Support the organizational mission through direct service work.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a Master's degree program in social work or counseling, specifically entering your 2nd year.
• A strong clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
