2027 Global Finance & Business Management - Summer Analyst

About the role#

The Global Finance & Business Management (GFBM) Summer Analyst program is a 9-week internship designed to provide hands-on experience in financial analysis, data interpretation, and strategic problem-solving. Analysts are placed within one of four functional groups: Business Management, Controller, Financial Analysis, or Project Management. This program serves as a pipeline for the full-time GFBM Analyst Program, which consists of a two-year rotational experience.

What you'll do#

• Act as a trusted advisor to business and group heads by identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements and controls across the transaction lifecycle.
• Create meaningful financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support business strategy.
• Support initiatives that drive cross-line-of-business or firmwide priorities, including new regulations, standards, or policies.
• Track progress, analyze outcomes, and support data-informed decision-making across project lifecycles.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th-year M.A. or M.S. degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or June 2028.
• A well-rounded academic background with an interest in financial management, analytics, and data.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Digital-first mindset with data-driven critical thinking skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Relevant internship experience and demonstrated leadership in academic or community organizations.
