About the role#
The Firmwide Design Development Program is a two-year, full-time initiative designed to support emerging talent in UX/UI Design, UX Research, and Service Design. Participants join multi-disciplinary teams to create visual solutions, conduct user research, and apply design thinking to financial technology products. The program focuses on developing business acumen and professional skills through mentorship and project work.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Experience Leads to design and refine product experiences.
- Work with UX Researchers and Lead Designers to conduct user research and usability testing.
- Engage in ideation and prototyping to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements.
- Create diagrams of product interactivity, including user flows and wireframes.
- Develop detailed designs using the internal Design System.
- Integrate accessibility and inclusive design practices into project workflows.
- Present and explain design decisions to Design Leads and the product team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design) or a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Engineering, Communications).
- Expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025.
- A digital portfolio that demonstrates user-centered thinking and clearly communicates the design process, including problem identification, ideation, testing, solution, impact, and reflection.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without employment-based sponsorship. Note: This program does not provide sponsorship or assistance for OPT or CPT.
