2026 Data & Analytics - Data Specialist - Summer Analyst

About the role#

The Chief Data Office (CDO) Summer Analyst program is a 10-week internship focused on data governance, privacy, and strategy. Interns work within a firmwide function to gain hands-on experience in how data is managed, protected, and utilized to drive business success. Participants receive mentorship and training throughout the program to support professional development.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the Chief Data Office team to support data governance, privacy, and strategy initiatives.
• Conduct research and analysis to support data-driven projects and decision-making.
• Assist in the documentation and communication of data governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in data quality management efforts, including data profiling and cleansing activities.
• Support the creation of data governance metrics and reports for stakeholders.
• Engage in meetings and workshops to gain exposure to data management challenges and solutions.
• Assist in project management tasks, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating data-related projects.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
• Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of data management principles and practices.
• Interest in data governance, data quality, data privacy, and project management.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL or Python is a plus.
