2026 AI Research Associate Program - Internship

About the role#

The AI Research Associate Program offers the opportunity to conduct end-to-end research within a specialized focus area. You will collaborate with internal and external researchers, as well as applied engineering teams, to explore and advance AI and machine learning techniques. This role is designed to generate high-impact business applications, open-source software, patents, and academic publications.

What you'll do#

• Manage all aspects of the research lifecycle, including problem formulation, data gathering, hypothesis generation, and model development.
• Conduct experiments, synthesize results, and build prototype applications.
• Communicate research findings and their significance.
• Participate in top-tier academic conferences to share contributions with the broader AI community.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive programming experience in Python, Java, or C++.
• Proficiency in fundamental AI and ML techniques, such as A* and regularization.
• Practical experience with statistical data analysis and experimental design.
• Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, combined with a collaborative spirit and curiosity.
• Interest in applying AI to financial services (prior domain experience is not required).
