About the role#
As a Process Engineer Intern, you will join our team for the summer of 2027 to help drive operational excellence. You will work alongside plant leadership to support daily performance processes and gain direct exposure to our production workflows. This role involves working both independently and with various site operations teams to improve how we get things done.
What you'll do#
- Support Reliability Excellence by learning our day to day plant performance processes.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, sanitation, safety, and operations functions.
- Participate in Kaizen projects to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Collect and analyze OEE and downtime data to assist with performance tracking.
- Create process maps and evaluate existing conditions to identify improvement opportunities.
- Review process standards and measure performance across our facilities.
- Document your work in project reports and notebooks.
- Share your findings, questions, and ideas with your team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management (junior or senior status preferred).
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A basic understanding of lean principles and process flow.
- Ability to work off shifts when necessary.
- Willingness to travel to facilities near your campus.
- A self-starter mindset with a drive for excellence.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous work experience is preferred.

- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
