About the role#
This co-op position provides hands-on experience within our Facilities and Utilities team in Gurabo. You will work alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals to support facility operations, utility systems, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on project execution, data analysis, and compliance activities within a regulated manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the execution of technical projects under the guidance of Facilities Engineering and Management.
- Analyze utilities and operational data to identify trends and draft technical reports.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment, utility, or process deviations.
- Help conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives.
- Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and security policies.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies at an accredited university.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Facilities Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
