About the role#
This summer internship program offers college students practical experience in business aviation. You will join the flight engineering team at the West Trenton Mercer County Airport to develop your technical skills and gain insight into the industry. The program runs from May to August 2027 and is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
- Handle line work, including fueling, towing, and marshalling.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems.
- Potentially fly with the aircraft as a flight engineer on domestic or international trips.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your freshman year at an accredited university.
- Current enrollment in an Aviation Maintenance Technologies degree or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A personal cell phone with email capability.
- Availability to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- A commute of less than one hour to Trenton, New Jersey.
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant license is preferred.
