This is a full-time, remote software engineering co-op opportunity within an R&D environment focused on building intelligent agent-based technologies. The role provides hands-on experience working on real engineering challenges while collaborating with experienced technical teams. Requirements • Education: Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent academic program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, with eligibility for a co-op placement. • Programming Skills: Experience with at least one modern programming language and a solid understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts. • Software Development: Familiarity with building, testing, and debugging software applications through academic, personal, or previous professional projects. • AI Interest: Genuine interest in artificial intelligence, AI agents, large language models, or emerging agentic software technologies. • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with curiosity and persistence when tackling unfamiliar technical challenges. • Collaboration: Ability to communicate clearly, work effectively with others, receive feedback, and contribute positively within a technical team. • Learning Mindset: Demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies, experiment with new approaches, and grow quickly in a fast-moving engineering environment. • Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
