About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to join the Capital Markets group at JLL. You will work alongside analysts to support investments and acquisitions. The role offers insight into the commercial real estate industry through research, writing, and data analysis. This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Diego.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing and writing market research by analyzing statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support the valuation of current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
- Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
- Assist in the due diligence process for transactions.
- Help design and prepare marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums, by creating charts and graphics.
- Gather data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles.
- Provide general assistance to the team.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college or university junior graduating in Summer 2028.
- You are pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- You possess permanent US work authorization.
- You have strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- You maintain a team-player attitude and can interact professionally with internal and external clients.
- You have intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred.
