About the role#
The Industry Relations Intern position provides hands-on experience in event coordination, strategic planning, and professional communication. You will contribute to industry initiatives while developing your skills in organization and process management.
What you'll do#
- Prepare branded materials and promotional assets for events.
- Manage travel and logistics to support attendee experiences.
- Adjust booth staffing schedules to improve coverage and engagement.
- Research new activation concepts and promotional items.
- Analyze attendee data to inform future planning.
- Coordinate shipping and accommodation details.
- Assist with pre-scheduling future industry events.
- Conduct post-event analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor trends in the jewelry and insurance industries.
- Draft communications and reports based on strategic priorities.
- Explore new event opportunities to expand brand reach.
- Participate in team initiatives and internship program activities.
- Support ad hoc projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. and climb a short ladder.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
